Pricing Standard Cornice Pricing: $24.00 a foot with a minimum charge of $96.00 per cornice. We round up all measurements to the next foot. To help you determine the size for pricing your cornice you will add the face width + the return size (i.e. depth) twice. For example if you have a cornice that measures 72” on the face width and the returns are 5” (i.e. 5" deep) then you would add 72” + 5” + 5” = 82" rounding up to 7 feet (84”). That makes the cost of this example cornice $168.00 (7 feet x $24.00). Crowned and Arched Toped Cornices by quote. Standard Lambrequin Pricing: $20.00 a foot with a minimum charge of $120.00 per lambrequin. Again we round up all measurements to the next foot. Measuring for a lambrequin differs slightly. Measure the face width + the two leg lengths. For example the face width of your lambrequin measures 42” and the legs are 60” long, you would add 42” + 60” + 60” = 162” rounded up to 14 feet (168”). Making the price of this example lambrequin, $280.00 (14 feet x $20.00). Standard Headboard Pricing: All prices below are the starting prices. Any extras or additions that you wish to add may increase the final price. Most headboards can be made with detachable legs to reduce shipping costs.
Embellishments: Embellishments are all of the extras that you can add to improve the look of your cornice, lambrequin, or headboard. At The Cornice Factory we can add just about anything that you wish for an additional fee. These are a few things that are popular; tassel and bullion fringe, decorative cording, decorative nails, buttons, jumbo welt cord, bands, and boarders. Don’t hesitate to ask what we can do to spice up any of our products.
Shipping Most of our cornices will ship UPS Ground with out any up charges. All cornices that are 76” or less wide and 18” or less tall will ship to the east coast for around $32.00 and to the west coast for around $65.00. We can also package more than one cornice per box; this keeps shipping costs down. Cornices that measure less than 108” will also ship UPS Ground for an additional charge. This makes shipping to the east coast around $120.00 and to the west coast around $135.00. Any cornice over 108” can be hinged and made to fit in a smaller box. If you do not want your cornice hinged, it will have to be shipped by a common freight carrier.
